From the Euro Zone

I am starting to really get more into European creations and accessories. Yes, they might cost a little more, but are well worth the price.  Check out this wallet:

One way to keep up with all of your coins, huh? Much better than losing them and having them tossed all in one's bag (like I always do)

And I'm absolutely loving these necklaces:

Italian style is just so amazingly chic, isn't it? You can buy them, too, just click the links. My accessory collection has just gotten much happier. Brava!

I need to stop buying dresses....

But I can't.  I'm so bad, seriously. Yesterday I went on Hot Miami Styles and bought this gorgeous dress!

I am so into the peplum right now, it's so stylish and elegant, and I love the color blocking of this dress, I have some perfect shoes to wear with it already!  I really need to STOP buying clothes because I am going to be moving to NYC next month and the more I buy, the more I have to lug over there with me.  But I am seriously cleaning out my closet this weekend and all of the clothes that I haven't worn in the last 3 months are going to Crossroads Trading Company to be sold off, everything else is going to be donated this Sunday at the Digitally Chic charitable event: DC Cares.  When I move I'm going to try to live more of a minimalist lifestyle, and just buy most of the things I need there.

Summer is coming!  And I'm looking to buying a new swimsuit. I saw this one also on Hot Miami Styles. I love monokinis so I think this one will be perfect as it shows just enough to be VAVAVOOM but isn't overly revealing.

Seen here on Kourtney Kardashian:

Needless to say, I am at the gym every day trying to get the body to really rock this!  I have 2 1/2 months, so I shouldn't despair just yet! Just about 10-12 more lbs to go. I can do it!  I'm hitting the gym after work then heading to a Digitally Chic event today at Roe in SF.  Can't wait to hang with amazing ladies like Angelica  and Adelle!  Pics to follow! Happy Thursday!

St. Patrick's & St. Pierre.

Uggh. The date (like most of my dates seem to be) was okay, but absolutely nothing to write home about. The guy was nice enough, we went to Le Colonial, and we each had a drink. Nice enough, but I did most of the talking and I think I might have intimidated him a bit. I don't understand what it is with the straight men here in San Francisco and Northern California, I cannot seem to find my reinnasance man type!  I find that I get along so much better with international types, European, South American, etc. I don't exactly know why it is but most Cali boys totally bore me. I haven't really found any I would seriously consider dating. One of the reasons I can't wait to leave here is because I feel I will never get married if I do not. LOL. I'll never give up on love, though, I will keep looking until I find the right person!

St. Pats was a lot of fun, I hung out with Kristi, one of my bffs.

We went to Irish Times and had a good time chatting, hanging out, and watching the Georges St. Pierre/Diaz fight on television.  I remember first seeing a GSP match with another one of my besties, Yasu, before in another pub and I fell in love with him there. I mean, what's not to love, seriously?

Hot stuff, huh?  Anyway, he won his match, by unanimous decision.  I honestly don't know why those men seem to like getting hit like that... sounds like Brad Pitt in Fight Club.  Sometimes it's just painful to watch. I could never imagine doing it, I've never even been in a school yard fight!

Anyway, back to St. Patty's Day talk.  They had some amazing Irish bands come in the place, blowing away on their pipes. Many of them were women so of course I had to take a pic with them.

Good times!

More to come!

It aint easy dressing green!

Yes, that's really me, not a supermodel. LOL. I went to ICU San Francisco Has Style fashion event last Sunday with one of my bffs, Kristi. This is what I wore, got the dress from Nasty Gal. I'm thinking I might wear it again for St. Patty's Day festivities this week, but honestly for St. Pats I prefer more of a shamrock green to a minty green.  Thankfully I have this amazing Betty Page dress in my closet to whip out of my arsenal at a moments notice:

Gorgeous, right?

And yes, this is really a model.  I love how off the shoulder and sexy this dress is! It really fits one like a glove and accentuates every curve. And snakeskin is really in for spring. However I am having a first date tonight with someone I've just met. I think one should really tone down the sexiness for a first date, unless all you want is to make the guy have "bedroom thoughts," and I don't really like the idea of that. I think I might save this for Salsa dancing night. I have another dress in green, also from Betty Page, and quite figure flattering, but modest enough to wear even at the office or church (I have worn it in both places!)

Vavavoom!  I love 40s/50s style vintage dresses, since I'm curvy they really suit me. I like to show off my figure but at the same time I'm modest and don't like to show a lot of skin. this one is perfect because the straps go around the waist and button in the back, really accentuating one's waist. The dress (mine is XS) fits rather snugly as a rule,  but the length is enough to get away with wearing anywhere.  Perfect for a first date, and GREEN! I think St. Patrick would approve! I have some amazing green earrings to go with it.... now all I have to worry about is what shoes to wear!  Always some kind of clothing dilemma...

I'm supposed to meet the bloke tonight at a wine bar in downtown San Francisco and then we're supposed to go to dinner somewhere since I don't really drink. I'm keeping my fingers crossed about this entire thing, I hope I won't be bored to sleep!   Details to come!
